Job Opportunity: Data Engineer (Argentina)Location: Remote (with occasional on-site presence in Buenos Aires)Contract: ContractorCompensation: Competitive USD paymentAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining secure data pipelines to join our global team and collaborate with a U.S.-based company.You will play a key role in secure data movement initiatives using MOVEit and similar platforms, while building notebooks and reporting frameworks that ensure compliance, reliability, and performance across distributed environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain data pipelines.Work with MOVEit or similar secure file transfer platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling).
Build notebooks and reporting frameworks.Develop using Python and SQL in collaborative environments.Work with Azure services (Azure Monitor, PostgreSQL, Logic Apps).
Collaborate in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
RequirementsProven experience with MOVEit or similar secure transfer platforms.Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and notebook-based development.Experience with Azure services.Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Residency in Argentina (mandatory).
Work ConditionsOnboarding: First week on-site in Buenos Aires.Afterwards, on-site presence required 2–3 days every 2 months.Travel costs covered.100% remote work outside of on-site requirements.Competitive compensation in USD.Contractor agreement.Collaboration with an international and multicultural team.
