Achieving our goals starts with supporting yours.Grow your career, access top-tier health and wellness benefits, build lasting connections with your team and our customers, and travel the world using our extensive route network.Come join us to create what’s next.Let’s define tomorrow, together.DescriptionWe believe that inclusion helps us thrive and grow at United across our collaborative Finance teams consisting of Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Integral Procurement, Controllership, Investor Relations and more.These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies.Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.Job overview and responsibilitiesThis role follows direction on standard procedures, including a number of different rules and work methods relating to accounting functions, which is communicated by the direct supervisor for the assigned country.Responsible for following standard methods and approved practices, requiring some judgment with regards to the application of appropriate rules and regulations.In addition, this capacity will perform closing or adjusting entries as instructed as well as clerical work related to accounting, auditing or fiscal function which requires basic bookkeeping practices, comprising of such duties as recording, checking and accumulating statistics.Candidate is required to be computer literate with demonstrated ability to meet proficiency standards which are required to enter the accounting data.– Book accounting entries at United accounting systems and local books as direct by immediate supervisor
– Perform preparation of less complex account reconciliation
– Perform administrative and Clerical tasks as assignedThis position is offered on local terms and conditions.Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):– Accounting or related studies
– 1 to 2.5 years’ experience working in similar capacity
– Excellent communicator, analytical skills, sensitivity to cultural differences, proven customer focus
– Fluency in English and local language (written and oral)
– Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, Access & Powerpoint
– Must be legally authorized to work in Argentina for any employer without sponsorship
– Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
– Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
